Turning Off McDonald’s Advertising for a Day. In Every Country Around the World.
For one day, McDonald’s didn’t run a single ad, instead they ran this video in every market, around the globe. We worked with McDonald’s (and Dreamworks and The World Food Programme) to create international awareness for The World Food Programme’s efforts, on The UN’s International Day of Peace, and raise money to help displaced families and refugees worldwide. Animator, Noma Barr, helped us create a beautiful visual narrative that crossed language barriers, to bring our message to life.

And then we recorded it in every major language in the world, with each language’s most Liam-Neeson-sounding voice.
Ultimately, the campaign raised over $5M in one day.
