At age 3 (pictured), I was determined to be a rock when I grew up. I thought I was going to be a cartoonist, then an architect. I started school studying Biomedical Engineering while trying to qualify for the Olympics, but graduated with majors in Spanish, Business, and English (and a career-ending injury.) Choosing between getting a Masters in Poetry and going to Commercial Truck Driving School, I ended up picking advertising.

I’ve hopped trains, once smoked a cigarette with Kurt Vonnegut, rode with bike couriers in Bangkok, and was almost model in Tokyo (yeah, I dunno.)
